On January 23, 2015, an Orange County jury returned an award of $666,666.67 for plaintiff Jong Suk Choi, who was injured at an apartment complex cutting off a finger using a table saw installing wood floors. Plaintiff’s counsel proved Mr. Choi was working for the defendant owners at the time, and navigated the complicated Labor Code sections 3700 et seq. to secure justice for the plaintiff. Defendants claimed Mr. Choi was just a tenant, and alleged comparative fault.
