Verdict $500,000

On June 28, 2013, Robert T. Simon and Brad M. Simon of The Simon Law Group, LLP, settled for the defendant’s insurance policy limits of $500,000.00 for their client, Ana Gonzalez. Ms. Gonzalez suffered third degree burns all over her body when the apartment she was renting caught fire. The owners of the premises attempted to blame the fire on Ms. Gonzalez, but eventually settled for the policy limits a few months before trial.
