A husband and wife were about to make a right turn when the lug nuts from a City truck scraped the left rear of their car. The city disputed liability and argued the plaintiffs’ made a wide right turn into their lane. The husband ended up having a cervical surgery, making a good recovery. His wife had  pain in her neck and back, managing it with Tylenol – she claimed pain 10% of waking hours.  Both Mr. and Mrs. Gonzalez had a 1.5 year gap in treatment at the time of trial.
