Allison Melendez

Allison Melendez grew up in Southern California and has remained a South Bay local throughout the years. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from California State University Long Beach. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law.

While in law school, Allison gained exposure to personal injury and premise liability cases as a law clerk. She also competed in moot court and placed among the top four teams in the nation during the Thomas Tang National Competition.

This experience solidified her passion for litigation and oral advocacy.

As a proud Ecuadorian, it was important for Allison to be involved with organizations that would allow her to lead and mentor other minorities. Allison served as the Vice President of the Hispanic Law Students Association and Secretary of the Minority Law Students Association. Being a part of both organizations in law school helped her recognize the importance of giving back to the community. She is currently a member of the Orange County Hispanic Bar Association, Mexican American Bar Association, and Latina Lawyers Bar Association.

After law school, Allison worked with a national insurance company and gained experience in all aspects of civil litigation from investigation, depositions, expert discovery, through trial preparation. She hopes to use her skills, ability to connect with clients, and advocacy to help her clients obtain the justice they deserve.

In her free time, Allison loves hiking with her husband Johnny and their two boxers, Blue and Bailey.
