Thomas J. Conroy

Tom Conroy is a Partner and senior trial attorney with the Simon Law Group and is the managing partner of its Valley North office.

Tom’s trial practice encompasses a wide range of large-loss matters, including products liability, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, commercial and business loss, appellate work and other related subjects. Tom’s trial advocacy with the firm has resulted in several notable verdicts around the State of California, including the $41.6 million verdict in the Kasian v. Leibel wrongful death civil trial in 2019.

Prior to joining the firm, Tom spent nearly a decade with the defense bar, including several years as a “High Exposure Attorney” with Farmers Insurance Group.  In this unique role within the Farmers legal structure, Tom handled innumerable large-loss, high exposure and catastrophic insurance defense matters (including several extraordinary matters-of-first-impression). Tom now brings his distinct perspective and expertise to The Simon Law Group.

In addition to his comprehensive trial practice, Tom takes on community-oriented pro bono cases, which over the years have included small business and corporate law matters, small-scale partnership and LLC structuring, trust and will formation and family law disputes.

Tom is admitted in all California State courts as well as Federal court in the Central District of California. A native New Englander, a fleet-footed ice hockey forward, a banshee-class alpine skier, inveterate woodsman and a double-digit stolen base threat well into his mid-30’s, Tom was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2008.
