Abel Fernandez was born and grew up in Southern California his whole life. Even before he entered college, Abel had extensive experience with the legal process, helping with the family business of private investigation for attorneys. Originally, Abel’s work dealt in intellectual property, but after transitioning to handling personal injury cases and seeing not only how these clients needed substantial help, but how attorneys were able to assist in getting that help, Abel was inspired to pursue law to aid people. Abel obtained a bachelor’s in finance, Real Estate, and Law from CalPoly Pomona, immediately heading for Western State College of law to obtain his JD.
Abel has been a part of the Justice Team long before becoming an associate, having interned during his undergrad years and becoming a law clerk for SLG throughout law school.
Abel spends his days off playing board games, foraging for mushrooms, and spending time with his family.
